The oil contains trace wax, which can increase the turbidity point, decrease the transparency and digestibility of the oil, and make the smell and palatability worse, thus reducing the edible quality, nutritional value and industrial use value of the oil. In addition, wax is an important industrial raw material, can be used to make wax paper, waterproof agent, gloss agent, etc.Therefore, the extraction of wax from oil can not only improve the quality of edible oil, the nutritional value and the quality of oily food, but also improve the industrial utilization value of oil and the comprehensive utilization of vegetable oil wax source.
