Product Description

1.- Frozen Vegetable Production Lines Carrot Processing Line

Raw materials: Choose the bright red and orange color, smooth surface, no shrinkage, eliminate or damaged carrots.

Washing: Washing carrots to remove the impurities of on the surface of them by the soft brush washing machine.

Finishing: remove the head and root of carrot.

Peeling&washing: Peeling the skin of carrots and wash them by spray water with the rigid brush washing machine.

Cutting: Cutting carrots into the slices,dices or slender strips.

Blanching: Blanching the selected carrot dices/slices/strips with hot water at about 90 ºC for 1.5-2 minutes.

Cooling: After blanching, use normal temperature water and 0-5 ºC cold water to cool in duplicate sections,so as to make the materials' temperature to reach 0-5 ºC.

Dewatering: Remove the surface water by centrifugal dewatering machine.

Quick freezing: Use IQF quick freezer (liquid nitrogen type), freezing temperature: From -25ºCto -35ºC, freezing time: 10-30 minutes.

Packaging: In plastic bags, 500g per bag, ordinary package. The temperature of the packing workshop should be 0-5 ºC.

Cold Storage:The finished products after packing shall be immediately stored in the cold storage with temperature of  -18 ºC to -21ºC and relative humidity of 95-100%.
